400V three-phase mains supply for three-phase electric pumps.
Electroil designed DINO with the goal of making the installation and configuration process as straightforward as possible.
The procedure consists of four main operations:
1. connect the inverter to the pump's electric motor
2. install the pressure transducer on the delivery line
3. connect to the power supply
4. set the current, rotation direction and desired pressure parameters
An inverter, or VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), is an electronic drive designed to control the speed and torque of asynchronous and synchronous electric motors by varying the frequency and voltage of the power supply.
The introduction of inverter technology represented a significant evolution compared to traditional control systems: today, motor speed can be adjusted according to the actual demand of the system, drastically reducing energy waste.
Reduced starting current during start-up
Reduced mechanical stress on motors and transmission components
Continuous and precise speed control.
Reduced operating noise
Extended component lifespan
Lower operating and maintenance costs
